Fairgrass is a Fair Trade products company that focuses on a variety of products.   "Fair Trade" is an approach to business and to development based on dialogue, transparency, and respect that seeks to create greater equity in the international trading system.  Fair Trade supports farmers and craftspeople in developing countries who are socially and economically marginalized. These producers often face steep hurdles in finding markets and customers for their goods. Fair trade pays a living wage to producers and helps them to work safely and with kindness to the environment.

Our main products are baskets from Africa and South America, Haitian Drum Art, and Ellie Poo Paper - paper made from elephant dung.   

 

You can browse the inventory in the 'shop' section and buy online any products you are interested in.  Each item is hand made, so dimensions are approximate.  The photos are intended to help with your selection, but do contact us via email to make sure we ship you the right product. (Even the Ellie Poo Paper has a wide variety of designs on the outer cover or container for you to choose.)
